Meet Local Osteopath Matt Grantham

Matt Grantham

Osteopath

Matt graduated his Osteopathy studies from RMIT University in 2018. After completing his degree, he returned to the region where he grew up, keen to work within his local community and be closer to family.

With a genuine interest in health, fitness, and sport, Matt enjoys helping people move and feel better in their everyday lives. Having played a variety of team and recreational sports over the years — from football and cricket to weekend rounds of golf — he understands the physical demands placed on the body in both sport and daily life, allowing him to tailor treatment to each individual’s needs

Matt is passionate about supporting his patients to achieve their health goals and enjoys seeing them return to the activities they love—whether that’s work, exercise, or spending time with family. He takes a holistic approach to care, combining hands-on osteopathic treatment with practical advice around lifestyle habits, diet, sleep, ergonomics, and exercise-based rehabilitation to support lasting results.

He has a particular interest in treating TMJ dysfunction, headache and migraines, as well as hip and lower back pain and regularly works with patients managing both acute and ongoing conditions. Matt has also completed further training in dry needling and cupping, which he incorporates into treatment where appropriate.

Outside the clinic, you’ll often find Matt keeping active in the gym or out running, spending quality time with his dogs, Elke and Zarli, or attempting to play a round of golf.

Matt's area of interest is in treating:

  • TMJ dysfunction
  • Headaches & Migraines

What is your favourite place in the world?
I’ve been lucky enough to travel around Europe for a number of months and there was a little place down the bottom of Portugal called Lagos, which was absolutely awesome. That’s been my favourite place (so far).

Are you a book or movie person? And what is your favourite one?
I can’t go past a good movie night. Anything with Leonardo DiCaprio’s a favourite of mine.

Who is the best team in the world, apart from our Sports & Spinal Albury crew?
My favourite would be the Sydney Swans, the best however would have to be the Chicago Bulls in the 90s when Michael Jordan was playing.

What would people be surprised to know about you?
I was actually about to join the police force before deciding on a career as an Osteo.
