Meet Local Osteopath Dr Matt Grantham

Matt Grantham

Osteopath

Matt graduated with a double degree in Health and Applied Sciences (Osteopathy) at RMIT University in 2018. Following on from this, he couldn’t pass up the opportunity to be back closer to family and friends, so returned to the region where he grew up to fulfil his Osteopathic goals. Matt’s interest in osteopathy stems from having a keen interest in all things health, fitness and sport, where he is regularly trying his hand at football, cricket and also golf on the weekends.

Matt’s passion is assisting others to reach their personal and health goals and enjoys seeing them back doing the things they love most in life, whether that be work, sports or hobby related. He manages his patients through the holistic approach of osteopathy, along with education (i.e. diet/lifestyle changes, ergonomic advice) and exercise rehabilitation, to achieve optimal health outcomes. Furthermore, Matt has completed further training in dry needling and myofascial cupping and regularly incorporates this into his treatments.

Matt enjoys treating patients of all ages and is skilled in treating a variety of acute and chronic conditions. He regularly treats patients experiencing neck pain and headaches, back, hip and foot related pain, as well as overuse and sports related injuries among others.

In his spare time, you’ll find Matt down the Murray River relaxing with mates, hanging with the family dogs, exercising in the gym or competing on the sporting fields.

Matt's area of interest is in treating:

Sports Related Therapy & Rehabilitation.

I can’t go past a good movie night. Anything with Leonardo DiCaprio’s a favourite of mine.

My favourite would be the Sydney Swans, the best however would have to be the Chicago Bulls in the 90s when Michael Jordan was playing.
