Yes, Osteopaths are approved to treat patients under the following schemes:

  • WorkCover
  • Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA)
  • Transport Accident Commission (TAC)
  • Motor Accident Authority (MAA)
  • Chronic Disease Management (formerly known as Enhanced Primary Care – EPC)

No referral is necessary to come to our clinic.

Osteopaths spend 5 years studying full time at university completing both Bachelor and Masters degrees.

All our practitioners are members of our national body, Osteopathy Australia.

Osteopaths like to be thorough and hence our consults tend to take half an hour on average.

Depending on the area of your body requiring treatment, your Osteopath may ask you to undress to your underwear. We do supply gowns for females to wear as they see fit. It is important that you feel comfortable so you may wish to wear loose pants or a pair of shorts to change in to. Once you are on the table you will be draped with towels as appropriate.

It is advised that you arrive between 5 and 10 minutes prior to your initial consult as you are required to fill out a new patient and informed consent forms before treatment can commence.
