Rachel grew up in the Albury/Wodonga region and completed her studies locally. She graduated from her physiotherapy degree at Charles Sturt University with first class honours in 2020. Choosing to remain in the area to stay close to family Rachel commenced work at a clinic with a predominantly musculoskeletal caseload while also gaining experience in a hospital setting and aged care facility. During this time Rachel discovered that her passion lay in the management of acute sporting injuries which saw her work alongside a number of local sporting teams to provide game day support and education regarding injury prevention. However, Rachel’s diverse background has also given her an appreciation for just how much our ability to do the “little things” on a daily basis matter which led to her developing an interest in working alongside those with chronic pain.
When not at work, you can find Rachel exploring the local area with family and friends, wandering around the golf course or at the gym
Rachel's area of interest is in treating:
- Hip and knee osteoarthritis
- Acute sporting injuries

What is your guilty pleasure?
I’m a massive sweet tooth and will devour anything involving chocolate.
Name three people you would love to have dinner with and why?
Adam Scott: Golf idol.
Dijana Djukic: Self development queen.
It would be amiss of me not to include my long distance bestie Ti… Living on opposite sides of the country means we’re lucky to have dinner together more than once a year!
What is your favourite place in the world?
Overseas travel is definitely on my bucket list! Unfortunately COVID rudely interrupted my plans… But for now I would say I can’t go past the heat of Far North QLD (particularly during our bitterly cold winters).
Are you a book or a movie person? And what is your favourite one?
Neither really! I can’t go past a good podcast though. My current favourite is Rise & Conquer.
Who is the best team in the world, apart from our Sports & Spinal Albury crew?
Whilst I’m not a huge follower of team sports, having grown up in an AFL household I’m going to have to say the Carlton Blues.
What would people be surprised to know about you?
I was actually studying to be a maths and science teacher before I transitioned to physiotherapy.
