Meet Local Osteopath Ebony Moorman

Ebony Moorman

Osteopath

Having grown up in the Kiewa Valley, I’m excited to be back in the region after spending the last four and a half years living in Northern NSW. Returning to the area has given me the opportunity to give back to the community that helped shape me.

I have always had a strong interest in health and the human body, which led me to pursue a career in osteopathy after experiencing firsthand how much osteopathic treatment helped me recover from my own injuries. That experience inspired me to help others move better, recover from pain, and get back to doing the things they love. I completed a bachelor of clinical sciences and masters of osteopathic medicine at SCU…

Growing up, I was involved in a variety of sports and spent many years dancing and playing soccer, giving me an appreciation for the physical demands that sport and movement place on the body. These experiences have sparked a particular interest in helping people of all ages return to the activities they love with confidence.

Ebony's area of interest is in treating:

  • Neck pain and headaches
  • Lower back pain
  • Sports injuries

What is your favourite place in the world?
Being anywhere with my partner and my family (and my dog) would have to be my favourite but having just moved back from northern NSW the Kingscliff Creek will stay as one of my favourite places in the world.

Are you a book or movie person? And what is your favourite one?
I’m no good at picking favourites of anything and definitely go through phases of movies and books but Harry Potter is one of my all time favourites, I am also a sucker for a romance movie like The Longest Ride.

Who is the best team in the world, apart from our Sports & Spinal Albury crew?
The Matildas would have to be up there for me, growing up playing soccer and seeing the growth in womens sport is so exciting to see.

What would people be surprised to know about you?
My family and I lived at Christmas Island for a year when I was a kid.

Ebony Moorman is an Osteopath at Sports & Spinal Albury Wodonga with an interest in treating headaches and back pain. Book an appointment today.
